Installing A Panoramic Sunroof In Our Tiny Home Bus | Tiny Home Living | Tiny Home | Simple By Lacey

We are in the middle of converting our 1991 Ford E-350 Shuttle Bus into a Tiny Home for my mother. She will be living on our land so I help her full-time and make sure she is safe. She has progressive neuropathy and is losing sensation to her left side. She is a brain cancer survivor of over twenty years, this is now happening to her from long term effects due from her chemotherapy she had right after her surgeries in 1998 and in 2000.

To give her privacy but also provide natural light in the bus we decided that a panoramic sunroof would be a great solution. Most of the side windows will be removed or covered for the bedroom area and the bathroom. We wanted to show what tools we use and how we ended up removing the roof braces and the roof itself. Let us know what you think of our process and we will be updating soon with videos and pictures of the installation of the Lexan sunroof window.
